Kabul: According to reports from Pakistani media outlets, the deportation of undocumented migrants from Pakistan persists, with 5,033 undocumented Afghan immigrants deported between February 25 and March 2. This increases the total number of deported Afghan immigrants to 503,261.
The recent deportations involved 217 families, consisting of 1,573 men, 1,048 women, and 2,412 children, who were returned to Afghanistan using 204 vehicles. Additionally, 233 Afghan nationals were previously deported to Afghanistan via the Torkham border.A detailed breakdown reveals a total of 6,623 migrants were deported to Afghanistan, including 5,299 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 138 from Islamabad, 1,152 from Punjab, and 34 from Azad Kashmir.
Deportation efforts extended from Peshawar to other borders, including Angoor Adda in Kharlachi. A total of 3,956 individuals were deported via the Angoor Adda border, and 698 were sent back from the Kharlachi border.
