Karzai attends mourning ceremony for Gen. Raziq, Qahraman in Arg

AT-KABUL: A mourning ceremony was held Monday for the former parliamentarian Abdul Jabbar Qahraman and former Kandahar police chief Abdul Razeq in the presidential palace.

President Ashraf Ghani, former president Hamid Karzai, government officials and jihadi leaders as well as Mahmood Achakzai, leader of Awwami Pakhtonkhwa Party attended the ceremony to pray for them.

President Ghani expressed hope that a sustainable peace would be ensured in the country.
