KABUL: A roadside bomb blast claimed the lives of two civilians and wounded 10 others in the eastern province of Nangarhar, officials said on Wednesday.
Provincial Governor’s Spokesman, Attaullah Khogyani said that the mine was planted to target the convoy of the National Directorate of Security in PD 4 of Jalalalabd, the capital city of Nangarhar.
Khogyani didn’t provide details whether the security forces suffer casualties in the attack.
No militant group, including the Taliban claimed the responsibility for the attack but both the Taliban and ISI-K so called Daesh groups are active in the province.
The armed conflicts between the government forces and Taliban have recently escalated. On Tuesday, at least three members of the NDS were killed and three others wounded in the roadside bomb blast in the northern province of the Parwan.
