KABUL: Yet in anther act of violence, at least two people have been killed and five others received inures in a roadside blast ripped Jalalabad, the capital city of eastern Nangarhar province on Monday morning, some source said. However, provincial official confirmed killing of one civilians.
This is third day where back-to-back ferocious incidents took place in Jalalabad, in which over five civilians embraced martyrdom and 20 others, mostly civilians, had received injures.
Provincial Governor Spokesman Attaullah Khogianai said a roadside mine placed by the enemy of Afghan people, had stroke a police vehicle in 3rd PD of Jalalabad. “A civilian was killed and five others including policemen wounded in the incident,” he added.
According to him, the health condition of an injured police officer has been reported critical. However, some other sources, confirmed two civilians were killed in the roadside blast.
