AT-KABUL: New Beginning Network (NBN) in collaboration with the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) hosted a day-long workshop on Afghanistan and its national interests.
The main objective of the workshop, entitled “Afghanistan and its National Interest—A Quest for Clarity’, was to start a discourse on the topic, where the young generation expressed its point of view on the country’s national interest, considering cultural, economic and political dimensions.
According to NBN, it would extend this discourse to Afghanistan’s province. The organization hinted planning and organizing such workshops in at least five zones of the country.
At the end of the workshop, the NBN management thanked the FES and guest speakers, Mozamel Shinwari, Maryam Safi, and Basir Hamidi.
