AT-KABUL: The National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Saturday said that a militant group was busted in southern Kandahar province.
In a press statement issued here, the spy agency said that its operatives succeeded in busting the group during an operation in the Kandahar city and arrested 11 militants.
The network was led by Rahmatullah alias “Dangir” in the province.
The detained militants were involved in different terrorist activities including assassination of a tribal elder Nik Mohammad, who was resident of Zerai district of Kandahar province. The militants were also involved in killing of three police officers.
