Kabul: The Central Bank of the Afghanistan announced that a package of $40 million dollars in cash has arrived to Kabul as part of the series of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.
The Central Bank has welcomed the humanitarian aid of the international community and called for more cooperation in this field.
Since the beginning of humanitarian cash aid to Afghanistan, this is the 62nd aid package that reaches Kabul in the form of cash and is delivered to one of the commercial banks in the country. Last week, two packages worth 40 million dollars arrived in Kabul.
According to published statistics, 29 packages worth 40 million dollars and more than 30 packages worth 32 million dollars have reached Afghanistan.
According to these statistics, the total amount of cash aid from the international community after the domination of Taliban in Afghanistan reaches more than two billion and 113 million dollars.
At the same time, the central bank welcomed the entry of currencies into the country through principled and legal ways and while appreciating the humanitarian aid of the international community, it has requested better banking relations in other financial and banking sectors with Afghanistan.
