AT-KABUL: Ministry of Public Health on Tuesday signed agreements with private sector to construct nine health centers in the country.
The construction projects of clinics would cost Afs 218 million, said public health minister Ferozuddin Feroz.
“Following health development strategy, we plan to build health infrastructures in coming years in a bid to provide health facilities equally across the country,” Feroz said.
He said that providing health service is one of the top agenda for the ministry and those projects which its procurement completed will be contracted soon.
The newly contracted projects included 30 beds hospital in Sarjangal district of Ghor, 30 beds of Maidan Shahr, 30 beds of Zherai district of Kandahar, 30 beds of polfi Khostfreng of Baghlan, comprehensive clinics of Zaranj district and Ghorghori district of Nimroz, expanding of Kabul medical health clinics and construction of surrounding walls of Mullah Tarakhil clinic in Kabul.
The ministry will start the construction work of Nangarhar regional hospital, 100 beds of Panjshir, 100 beds of Zabul, 100 beds of Zabul and 50 beds clinic of Siagered district of Parwan province in next three months.
