AT-KABUL: The National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Tuesday said that nine terrorists were arrested in southern Zabul province.
Intelligence operatives succeeded to arrest nine insurgents and bust a terrorist network through crackdown in Qalat center of Zabul province, said NDS.
“12 mines discovered and confiscated from the possession of captured rebels,” the NDS said in a statement.
Terrorists planned to place mines in crowded area in Qalat city, which would cause at killing and wounded of innocent people.
Detained rebels during primary investigation confessed that they were involved to different subversive activities in the province.
