KABUL: A disagreement erupted in the parliament over the children protection law approved by the lawmakers this week.
Some of the MPs said Wednesday that the law was good and that was why they approved it, while others believed the law was incomplete.
The lawmakers opposing the law said that one article was against Islamic orders.
They called each other for a debate over the children protection law. Some of the lawmakers said that it was approved and rejected any more discussions.
The law was approved after a long time delay as the parliamentarians could not get agreement. The law forbids any type of misuse of children including labor, force marriage and sexual abuse.
