AT-KABUL: General Din Mohammad Jurat was sacked on Tuesday as senior advisor to the president and deputy chief of the Office of National Security Council.
President Ghani in a decree unseated his senior advisor and deputy chief of ONSC, said a statement issued by President’s press office.
The statement did not explain the reason behind the president’s decision for sacking his advisor, nor did it comment about Gen. Jurat’s replacement.
A Jihadi commander, General Jurat is a prominent member of Jamiat Islami Party.
