By Akhtar M. Nikzad-KABUL: Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) donated food packages to needy residents of seven districts of Kabul province. The food items were wheat, oil, bean, sugar and tea cost around 6.8 million Afghanis.
Mohammad Naim Dindar, Secretary General of Afghan Red Crescent Society said that QRC donated around $250,000 for vulnerable families affected by natural disasters in 2015.
He said the QRC vowed to provide urgent aids in 14 districts of Kabul province as.
He added that people in Qarabagh, Kalakan, IStalif, Mir Bacha kot, Deh Sabz, Kak-e Jabar and Surobi districts enjoyed the aids.
He highlighted that Afghan Red Crescent Society has plan to distribute non-food aids for around 9,000 needy families across the country during winter seasons.
Country Director of the QRC Abdul Mounim, said this was the sixth turn that Qatar Red Crescent Society provide aids for deprived families in Afghanistan adding that the cooperation would be continued in the feature as well.
