AT-Kabul: Two people including provincial Religious Affairs Director were killed and nine others wounded in a suicide attack in eastern Nangarhar today afternoon.
Nangarhar Governor Spokesman Attaullah Khogyanai said that, “Today afternoon at around 3:10 pm a suicide attacker targeted the vehicle of Abdul Zahir Haqqani, Provincial Director of Hajj and Religious Affairs, in First Police District area of Jalalabad city.
He said that as result of the blast Nangahar Hajj and Religious Affairs Director and his driver were martyred. In this attack nine civilians also were injured, who evacuated to provincial hospital for treatment.
According to information the attacker was on foot and waiting in the area when the car of the official arrived near him the attacker blew up.
