Kabul: Russia will hold a presidential election on March 15-17 which results will follow shortly afterwards and the winner will be commenced in May.
Dmitri Zhirnov, the Russian ambassador to Afghanistan, regarding the organization of the Russian presidential election on March 17, 2024 stated that the Russian presidential election will be held in Kabul on March 17, 2024 at (Afghanistan, Kabul city, District 7, Ayub Khan Mina, Darul Aman Road, Russian Embassy in Afghanistan).
Citizens of the Russian Federation who have reached the age of 18 can participate in the presidential elections, holding their valid passport.
He also advised all Russian nationals in Afghanistan, to participate in the voting process, with their internal passports (valid circuit) of the Russian Federation, documents of return to the country, and seaman’s passports.
Voting will also take place in parts of Ukraine now controlled by Russian forces which have been placed under Russian law.
