KABUL: The First Vice President Amurullah Saleh Tuesday strongly reacted to thug’s misbehavior with the Kuchi tribe in the northern province of Panjshir.
A video went viral on social media shows that Abdul Hassib Khurasani, a fled-thug stopped a group of Kuchis at midnight in a mountainous area in Panjshir, threatening the shepherd to immediately leave the province.
Khurasani claims that Ashraf Ghani banned Ahmad Massoud to hold, the celebration of the Mujahideen’s victory in Loya Jirga tent. Khurassani said that he would no longer allow Kuchis to settle in Panjshir Mountains.
But VP Saleh said that thugs and robbers would be held accountable and that people of Panjshir have economic relations with the Kuchis over hundreds of years.
Saleh called upon the provincial police chief to take legal action against those who threatened the Kuchis.
However, the provincial police chief refused the misbehavior with the Kuchis tribe in the province, terming the leaked video as fake. This comes as earlier Khurasani was detained on the charges of disrespect to the national flag of Afghanistan and possession of illegal weapons.
