KABUL: Afghanistan National Security and Defense Forces in cooperation with the NATO forces raided Taliban hideouts in southern Ghazni province, killing 31 militants on Sunday night.
At least 31 Taliban fighters were killed in Andar district of Ghazni province, after afghan forces conducted clearance operations supported by Resolute Support ground and aerial forces, said Thunder Corps Press Office in a statement.
One armored vehicle of Afghan forces, which seized by enemy, one Mazda vehicle full of explosive, three motorbike and some ammunitions belonged to the enemy destroyed during crackdown, added statement.
Due to partly destruction of administrative buildings, laying mines on the road by enemy and some other significant of civilian casualties the district administrations shifted to a safe area recently, added statement.
After technical retreat, afghan forces used to deceive Taliban fighters and incur heavy causality to them in the district, mentioned statement.
The Taliban claim regarding capture of the district is baseless, noted statement.
