KABUL: Afghan security forces have killed a key member of the Taliban extremist group in a night raid in Qarabagh district of Kabul on Sunday, said officials on Monday.
District chief Mohammad Hanif Seddiqi said on Monday that the Afghan security forces has conducted a night raid in Sabzrang village of Qarabagh district, in which Mullah Hussain a key member of Taliban was killed.
However he did not give further details about the operation, confirmed that Mullah Hossain was involved in multiple terroristic activities, thus targeting the security forces and military convey.
Taliban has not commented on this regard so far.
