KABUL: At least seven Daesh or so called IS-K loyalists were killed and nine others arrested during a crackdown carried out by Afghan security forces in eastern Nangarhar province.
In addition to that nine Daesh fighters arrested during special operation carried out by Afghan Special Forces in Haska Mina and Pachiragam districts of Nangarhar, Provincial Governor Spokesman Attaullah Khogianai said.
The Afghan Special Forces carried out operation in Sulaiman Khil Tangi area of Pachirgam district, he said.
Similarly, Afghan forces conducted crackdown against Daesh terrorist group in Haska Mina district, in which one Daesh militant was killed and nine others arrested, he noted.
During operation, civilians and military personnel did not receive casualties, he added.
