AT-KABUL: Seven people including a suicide bomber were killed and few others were injured after a rocket hit a residential area in north of the city and in a separate attack US forces targeted a suspected suicide bomber near Kabul airport.
A suspected suicide bomber was targeted and killed near the airport by a US drone strike, who was driving a car full of explosives and was apparently looking to attack Kabul airport, sources told Afghanistan Times.
In another incident, at least six civilians were killed and few others were wounded after a rocket landed on a house in a residential neighborhood in PD-15 of Kabul city, near Kabul airport, this evening, sources told Afghanistan Times.
The two security incidents took place hours after the United States warned of possible terrorist attacks against Kabul airport, as the western countries try to complete their evacuation process.
