AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: At least seven militants including a commander of the Islamic State (IS), aka Daesh terrorist, have been killed in a drone strike carried out by foreign forces in eastern Kunar province, officials said on Tuesday.

The Provincial Police Chief , Maj. Gen. Jumma Gul Himmat told Pajhwok Afghan News the NATO drone targeted a Daesh hideout in mountainous in Talona area of Watapur district, in which seven Daesh insurgents, including a commander were killed. There are no civilian casualties. The insurgent group has not spoken to the airstrike yet.
