AT News Report-KABUL: At least six people including children have been martyred and nine others received injuries as a result of a blast from explosives placed on a motorbike in western Herat province, official said on Monday.
The explosion occurred in a Bazaar in Shindand district, said Jilani Farhad, Provincial Governor Spokesman, adding, based on initial information the blast was caused by explosives placed in a three-wheeler rickshaw.
However, there is no immediate claim of reasonability, but both Taliban and Daesh extremist groups are often behind such coward attacks.
The ongoing conflict in Afghanistan is taking huge toll on civilians as based on UN’s annual civilian causality report, 3,438 people were killed and 7,015 other received injuries last year.
