AT News Report-KABUL: Ministry of Agriculture Irrigation and Livestock (MAIL) on Sunday said that six water supply networks were inaugurated and activated in the Paghman district of Kabul.
“Six water supply networks were inaugurated in Paghmann district in order to provide water to the farmers’ farms on time,” said a statement issued by MAIL.
Statement said that this network will also prevent wasting of water as well as reduce flood risk in the district.
The water reservation network constructed at a total cost of 8.3 million Afs funded from MAIL development budget, added statement.
Some 2,000 family will be benefited by the water supply network and 3250 acres land would be irrigated in the district, noted statement.
Proper delivery and justly dividing of water on farm is one of top agenda for MAIL. 160 water supply networks have been rehabilitated across the country, which through 220,000 acres landed irrigating throughout the country.
