KABUL: The spring have come out with a new war season for the insurgents after they intensified subversive and terroristic activities on military conveys, checkpoints and bases across the country.
Badakhshan, Kunduz, Helmand, Ghazni, Kunar, Paktika, Badghis, Farah and Faryab are provinces that have been stuck in current skirmish and conflicts where possibility of casualty can’t ignore.
QaisMangal, spokesman for the ministry of defense said Saturday that the national defense and security forces launched aggressive operation to defeat and push back the insurgents.
“They (Taliban) have increased their attacks in some provinces, and security forces conducted comprehensive military operations to tame the insurgent down.
The concerns are coming when Abdullah NajiNazar, Badakhshan Provincial Council Member said after 24 hours clash between the security forcesand Taliban, Arghanj district of the province collapse to Taliban. He said over 12 security forces were killed and five others wounded during operation.
Meanwhile, General GholamDawoodTarakhilPolice Chief forGhazni province said the Taliban attacked on many police check points of the police district three of the provincial capital on Friday night.
He said more than nine police including chief of the police district were killed and six others wounded during the clash.
The spring of every year starts with new season of the war in different parts of Afghanistan.
