Kabul: Iran’s special representative for Afghanistan has announced his visit to Pakistan and says that security and stability in Afghanistan means security in the countries of the region.
Hassan Kazemi Qomi, Iran’s special representative for Afghanistan affairs, announced his trip on Wednesday, in a tweet.
He wrote, “During a trip to Pakistan and meeting with the officials of this country, I emphasized that security and stability in Afghanistan means security in the countries of the region.”
Qomi added: “America and some of its partner countries are the basis of instability in the region.”
Mr. Qomi’s visit to Pakistan takes place while Karen Dicker, the Chargé d’Affaires of the US Embassy in Afghanistan, also visited Pakistan.
She had tweeted that he was looking forward to receiving new information about the situation of Afghan citizens in Pakistan.
