AT-KABUL: Taliban set free three staffers of a welfare organization, who have been abducted in western Herat province, said an official source.
Four health workers along with their driver were kidnapped by unknown gunmen around two weeks ago on their way to Ghoryan district of the province.
Ahmad Rauf Ahmadi, spokesman for Herat police, said the safe release of the health workers and their driver was secured with the help of tribal elders in Adraskan district of the province.
The released men were working for BNN, an organization working in sector of health.
An official source in the province said that the released workers of the organization hadn’t coordinated their trip to Ghoryan district with security organization in the province.
