AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: A Taliban judge, for Jawzjan province and deputy governor for northern Balkh province have been killed, and five others received injuries in a clash with Afghan security forces in Aqcha district of Jawzjan province, officials said on Tuesday.
The Provincial Governor Spokesman, Mohammad Reza Ghafori, said that Matiullah, the Taliban’s Deputy Governor for Balkh assumed injures during attack in Kalta Shakh area of Aqcha district.
Ghafori added that five other Taliban insurgents have been severely wounded and they might have been died of injuries in the attack. However, he said that security forces have suffered no casualties in the attack.
Separately, the Afghan security forces have killed Mualvi Abdul Hai Hanif, a designated Taliban judge for Khamab district of Jawzjan province.
The Taliban Spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, claimed that their three fighters have been killed and five other injured during the clash with Afghan security forces. He also claimed a tank belonging to Afghan security forces have been deteriorated and four personnel were killed in the ongoing clash in Kalta Shakh village.
