AT-KABUL: The National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Sunday said that the Taliban shadow governor for Kunar was killed along with two senior commanders and 12 fighters on Saturday night.
In a press statement issued here, the spy agency said that based on intelligence reports, 15 Taliban fighters including the shadow governor of the Taliban, Omar Zadran, were killed in an air strike in Kunar province. The two senior Taliban commanders killed in the air strike were identified as Mawlawi Shahabudin and Mawlawi Asghar. The latter was leading militant attacks on Dangam district of Kunar province.
