AT-KABUL: A top commander for the Taliban insurgents was killed during an operation launched by the security forces in the northern Parwan province, local security officials said Monday.
“Civil Order Police has conducted a special operation in Siagerd district yesterday, killing a top commander of the Taliban identified as Mullah Naim Kor (blind),” said a press statement issued by Ministry of Interior.
Three other insurgents were also wounded during operation in the district, added statement.
Mullah Naim, was one of the key Taliban insurgents, who was involved in different subversive activities including killing of innocent people in Siagerd district.
