Taliban’s visit to regional countries result less

KABUL: Referring to the Taliban’s regional trips, the Afghan government said that these visits would not bring any result in the peace process, adding the militants should try talking with the Afghan government instead of knocking alien’s gates.

“Walking to the alien’s gates will not make any result. To find a solution, the Afghans should set together and talk,” said Najia Anwari, spokesman for the ministry of state for peace affairs.

The remarks comeas the Taliban political office’s spokesman, SuhailShaheen in a tweet said that a delegation of nine members, led by the Taliban’s deputy leader Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar have traveled to China to discuss the Afghan peace process.

The Taliban Qatar based representatives have kicked off their regional trips after US President Donald Trump called off the peace talks and termed it“dead”, following an attack in Kabul, which killed 12 people, including one US soldiers.

However, in press conference with Australian Part Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, Trump said that he called cancelled the peace talks after the Taliban rejected a truce.

China’s trip is the third visits of the regional countries. On September 16th, the Talibanrepresentatives traveled to Tehran and Moscow.

Meanwhile, Shaheen said that Bradar has met the Chinese special envoy for Afghanistan, Ding Shaijumon on Sunday in Beijing.

According to him, both sides focused on the peace talks, which were held between US diplomats and Taliban’s representatives in Doha.

Moreover, he added that Chinese envoy has called the US and Taliban agreement as a solution for Afghanistan’s reconciliation.However, the Chinese embassy in Kabul has not stated any comments in regards so far.

In reaction to the Taliban’s trip to Moscow, President Ashraf Ghani’s spokesman, Sediq Sediqisaid the Taliban have lost their way of reaching a peace deal.

Meanwhile, IntizarKhadam, a political analyst said the Taliban may try to make links with Beijing asChina is a powerful and influential country in the region.

“Politic is done through money, powerful military, regional diplomacy and trade, and China has all of them. So the Taliban will not ignore what China says,” he said.

To implement its high regional projects, Khadim said that China wants a stable Afghanistan. “If US leave Afghanistan, China is the second power in the region,” he said.
