AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: At least three civilians have been killed and four others received injuries on Sunday after clash erupted between Afghan Security forces and the Taliban insurgents in western Farah province, provincial officials said. The clash took place in Ganj Abad region of Balablok district of the province.
The Provincial District Governor, Mullah Sayed Mohammad, said that the Taliban insurgents turned residential houses as their stronghold against Afghan security forces. “Terming this a main reason behind killing of three civilians and injury of four others during the clash,”
The incident happed after a few days ago at least seven civilians have been killed, and six others were kidnapped by the Taliban insurgents again in Farah province.
“Taliban insurgents stopped a 303 bus, taking down seven civilian and killed them all in Balablok district of the province,” officials said. Killed civilians were possibly ex-government officials.
Soon after the evil act by the Taliban insurgents, the Afghan forces rushed to the area, in which clash erupted between Afghan security forces and the Taliban insurgents.
According to provincial officials, after a few hours of clashes, ten of the Taliban insurgent have been killed, and seven others wounded.
