AT-KABUL: The National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Monday said that three terrorists linked with Haqqani network were arrested in southern Logar province.
A press statement issued here NDS said that it is operatives succeeded to arrest three terrorists through an operation in Sarghonda village of Khoshi district in Logar province.
Statement said that two AK-47 rifles with some ammunition were seized from captured rebels.
The detained insurgents were involved in different subversive activities including laying mine on roadside, added the statement.
The captive identified as Ahmadzai, Mohammad Omar and Salam Jan, who confessed to their crime during primary investigation.
Also Intelligence operatives managed to discover and confiscate an ammunition cache belonged to Taliban in Khoshi district in a separate operation.
Confiscated munitions included two AK-47s, three mortar, one missile and four mines.
