AT-KABUL: Three persons were injured on Sunday seriously in a suicide blast in Kandahar province, the provincial government said.
Spokesman to the provincial governor Samim Khpalwak told media that a terrorist detonated an explosive filled car near a security check-post in Daman district at 11:30 a.m.
He said three persons were injured in the blast, including two policemen and a civilian.
Khpalwak said the injured were shifted to the nearby hospital.
According to a Xinhua, the blast was carried out near the Kandahar airport. An official who wished anonymity told the Chinese news agency that four Afghan policemen, a foreign soldier and one civilian were injured in the attack.
The Taliban insurgent group has claimed responsibility for the suicide blast.
