AT-KABUL: At least three air force officers were killed, after a “training helicopter made an emergency landing” in eastern Logar province today, provincial officials confirmed Sunday.

“The MY-17 helicopter of the air force made an emergency landing due to technical problems in Sheng area of Mohammad Agha district at 11:20am, said a statement issued by the provincial governor’s office.

It said that another officer was wounded.

The statement said the chopper was flying from Nangarhar province that got technical problems and made an emergency landing.
