AT: KABUL: The National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Thursday claimed arrest of three terrorists in eastern Nangarhar province.
In a press statement issued here, the spy agency said that NDS agents in an operation launched in Nangarhar arrested three persons who were involved in different terror activities. The alleged terrorists were identified as Saifullah, Hekmatullah, and Fazelhaq.
A motorbike, one landmine, 40 letters belonged to the Taliban, one pistol and military uniform were recovered from possession of the arrested persons. As a common practice the letters are distributed at night time by the insurgent group to warn people of going against wishes of the Taliban. The detained terrorists were using children to plant landmines in order to avoid being caught, the statement added.
