KABUL: The dead body of a young trader was found in Kabul River in PD 3rd of the city, security officials said Tuesday.
Kabul Police Spokesman, Ferdaws Faramarz identified the trader as Mohammad Javad. The body was shifted to the forensic medicine directorate, he said without giving more details about nature of the murder. According to some reports, Faramarz was abducted two days ago.
First Vice President, Amrullah Saleh, who is in charge of the Kabul security, said that an investigation was underway to find the details of the murder.
In a statement as part of his morning session activity, Saleh indirectly accused the Taliban and IS-K or so called Daesh group of having hand behind abductions for ransom to support their offensives.
“The claim that personal issues pose the murder is unacceptable for us,” he said.
Afghanistan is one of the world’s dangerous countries for the traders. The Afghan traders have constantly voiced their concerns about insecurity and threat that they face in Afghanistan.
