AT Monitoring Desk:KABUL: At least three people died and seven others wounded in a traffic accident in northeastern Badakhshan province, an official said on Sunday. The incident took place on Khisham-Tishkan road when a car skidded off the highway and fell into Kokcha River, the provincial governor spokesman Nawid Ahamd Farotan said.
“Driver lost control over the car and plunged into the river,” he said.
In a rescue operation, Afghan security forces pulled out the dead and wounded passengers. Health condition of the injured was reported critical.
