KABUL- Afghan officials say a Vehicle Born Improvised Explosive Device (VBIED) has been detonated against entrance of Green Village, a camp which houses foreign nationals in east of Kabul city, initial information shows four people were killed and 113 more injured.
Interior Ministry spokesman, Najib Danish said the bombing took place shortly before 7:00pm in PD-9 in east of Kabul city against the compound of Green Village, a camp which houses foreign nationals including civilians and military.
He said during the attack only few guards were present in the camp and there were no more people present in the camp during the attack.
Kabul Police spokesman, Basir Mujahid said four people including a civilian killed and 113, mostly civilians injured, including 23 children and 12 women.
All injured of the attack were evacuated to government hospitals and those who were injured slightly we’re already discharged after first medical aid.
Investigators were until Tuesday investigating the attack in the site of the bombing.
Taliban claimed responsibility for the truck bombing and said “tens” of foriegners were killed in the attack.
