President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimukhamedov left for Afghanistan on the official visit on August 27, reports the press service of the President.
The program of the visit includes signing of a number of cooperation deals, defining the priority issues of cooperation in the context of the implementation of the previously reached agreements.
Berdimukhamedov has earlier said that Turkmenistan is ready to provide necessary assistance to regulate the situation in Afghanistan.
Two countries have the common project for the construction of Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline, which will contribute to the formation of the global energy security and creation of new jobs in Afghanistan, notes the report.
