Kabul: During a visit to Ashgabat, Chinese Special Envoy for Afghanistan, Yue Xiaoyong, convened with Turkmenistan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Ahmet Kakabayevich Gurbanov. Their talks centered on bolstering collaborative efforts in supporting Afghanistan’s reconstruction. Yue also affirmed China’s backing for Turkmenistan’s hosting of the 2024 summit, which is expected to be attended by foreign ministers from China, Pakistan, Iran, Tajikistan, and Russia.
