AT-KABUL: The National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Tuesday said that two abductors were arrested and a kidnapped child was rescued by its operatives in Kabul city.
Intelligence operatives arrested two kidnappers through special operation in the police district 6 of Kabul city, it said in a statement.
The abductors were identified as Ali Ahmad and Ali Yawar, who had abducted a child named Taqi from Etifaq area of Dasht-e-Barchi last month, asking $600,000 ransom for his release, added the statement.
Abducted child released, after arrest of kidnappers and handed over to his family, noted the statement.
