AT-KABUL: Two persons were killed when a bomb they were planting went off Saturday in Paktika province, provincial office said in a statement.

The statement said the bombers attempted to plant the bombs on a roadside between the districts of Khirkot and Sharan to target the innocent people of the areas, but before reach to their goals they were killed by their mines.

The statement added that insurgents always lays mines on highways, and kills civilians and innocent people.
