Kabul: The UN Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, Martin Griffiths said in a meeting with the Taliban authorities that they will provide 4.6 billion dollars’ worth of aid to Afghanistan in 2023.
Mr. Griffiths said that the purpose of our trip to Afghanistan is to focus on humanitarian activities so that they can continue in a better way.
Meanwhile, the United Nations Vice President shared his concerns about women’s work and education and their impact on their careers.
The United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs has also said that for 2023, we have requested 4.6 billion dollars in aid to 28 million Afghans, which is our largest activity globally, therefore the existence of female employees to deliver aid to women and children are a necessity.
