Kabul: A bomb blast rocked Police District 2 of Kabul city on Tuesday morning, causing no loss of life, Kabul police spokesman Khalid Zadran said.

“An explosive device planted on the side of the road went off today in Police District 2. No one was hurt in this incident.” Zadran said.

No group has claimed responsibility for the blast yet.

This is the third blast in Kabul over a week.

An explosion took place close to Jalaluddin Mohammad Balkhi school in the Khair Khana area of Kabul on Saturday this week and an educational center on Friday, targeted by a suicide attack killing at least 53 persons and 110 others injured.
