AT-KABUL: Ex-President Hamid Karzai’s advisor Shahzada Masoud said that keeping unity is only remedy to fight current crisis across the country.
“Some eternal and external clusters struggling to create rifts and increase discord among Afghan nation throughout the country,” said Masoud.
He said that discord among nations could be more dangerous than conflict, thus it is required of all Afghan to keep unity in order to cope with all challenges across the country.
Foreigners never will hold step for solution of crisis in Afghanistan, it is required of Afghan nations to mobilize and fight against challenges in the country, he asserted.
Pointing to ramp up insecurity problems in Kunduz, Farah, Helmand, Uruzgan and some other provinces, he said that international community helped Afghan forces in anti-terrorism war, but never helped peace process seriously.
He asked the International Community Particularly United State to help peace process and put pressure over Pakistan to bring Taliban on negotiation table.
He also urged National Unity Government leaders to hold efforts and begin negotiation with Taliban in order to reach durable peace nationwide.
Welcomed signing of peace deal with Hezb-e-Islami Afghanistan led by Hekmatyar, he stated that joining of HIA will have positive impact, but war never will be ended nationwide.
Government must work over negotiation with Taliban fighter to bring peace and stability across the country, he asserted.
Killing of innocent people including Afghan forces and displaced issues not acceptable anymore for Afghan people, it is essential to the government to make a clear policy and address all issues as soon as possible, he underlined.
