AT News Report-KABUL: A large number of elders from Uruzgan province have supported the voice of former President Hamid Karzai against the war crimes of US forces by dropping biggest bomb, and emphasized on unity for complete withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan.
The elders have been endorsed former President Hamid Karzai’s stand against the test of big non-nuclear US bomb, called as ‘mother of all bombs’ against the so-called Islamic State (IS), which is also known as Daesh terrorists in Achin district of eastern Nangarhar province.
In a gathering, the elders, said “use of MOAB was a barbaric and inhuman act of US forces, that shows a clear violation of national sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
They added that US presence in the country is contrary to the national interest of Afghanistan. “Supporting and backing Hamid Karzai would help to overthrow the US forces from the country.”
At the same time the elders also slammed Pakistan and other regional countries for supporting and fueling terrorism in Afghanistan.
Former President Hamid Karzai has strongly reacted to the biggest non-nuclear bomb, dropped by US forces against the so-called IS in Achin district of Nangarhar. Karzai also came hard over the government for allowing US forces to use the bomb, terming it an act of treason.
Karzai vowed to continue struggle for the complete withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan to protect the Afghan people from US war crimes.
The various politicians were participated in the gathering, “titled US as a terrorist country”. According to them, US is not following terms and conditions of the security agreement inked with the Afghan government. Bilateral Security Agreement was signed at the first day of National Unity Government, with a hope that this pact would help Afghans in reaching a durable peace. However, everything got return, instead insecurity has been increased.
The elders added that US can prevent terrorism and foreign interference in Afghanistan, but it is not willing to do so. “The reason behind this is yet to know, however, it seems that US is interested in prolonging war and terrorism on the Afghan soil.”
Moreover, they called for unity and solidarity among Afghan masses against the withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan. Hamid Karzai was supported by the people of Uruzgan province when the US-led NATO forces toppled Taliban regime. Once again, Uruzgan’s elders lend weight behind Hamid Karzai to confront US aggression against the innocent Afghan people. The test of MOAB has given birth to harsh reaction by the Afghan people across the country.
