KABUL: US drone strikes in Afghanistan killed 57 insurgents during the last four months, a leading France news agency reports.
US drones carried out six times during this year in different eastern provinces including Nangarhar, Kunar and Nuristan, the news agency reported.
The drone targeted Al-Qaeda and other militants’ hideouts. According to the report, drone hit 410 targets during 2004/05 which killed 3,949 persons including 962 foreign militants in Pakistan.
From 2002 to2015, around 1,106 people including 157 civilians had been killed in 11 drone strikes in Yemen whereas 105 people including 5 civilians killed in Somalia in 13 drone strikes.
US officials have not commented on the report. (PAN)
