AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: A former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) operative has said that the hideouts of the Islamic State (IS), which is also known as Daesh terrorist group in Nangarhar province, which bombarded by US forces recently, were once constructed by the US itself during the Afghan war.
Edward Joseph Snowden, ex-CIA personnel, has said that these hideouts were constructed for Mujahideen in 1980 to use it against Russian forces to undermine Moscow mission in Afghanistan.
“Construction and demolition of these hideouts has cost US administrative around 350 million dollars, Snowden quoted by a local radio station, as saying.
He added that US forces in Afghanistan has tested the most dangerous bomb ever. “US have never tested this bomb in other country during period of war, and it is for the first time in Afghanistan.”
