AT-KABUL: The National Directorate of Security (NDS) said that its operatives have seized a huge cache of weapons of the Haqqani terrorist network in central Logar province.
A statement issued by the NDS here on Thursday stated that its operatives have seized a huge weapon cache from the Haqaani network during a raid in Kharwar district of Logar.
A booby trap motorcycle, MG-1s, heavy machinegun, 15 kilograms of explosive materials, AK47s, eight home-made bombs, artillery rounds, military uniforms and thousands of bullets were recovered from the insurgents’ possession, the statement added. Three suspects were also detained after the NDS lay its hands on certain clues from the cache.
