WhatsApp disruptions reported in Afghanistan

AT

Kabul: WhatsApp, the instant messaging platform was down for users in Afghanistan on Tuesday with people unable to send or receive messages on their devices. Many users have reported that they are unable to access WhatsApp messenger on Android or iOS and even WhatsApp web to send messages to their contacts or groups.

Several other countries have also reported the issue with WhatsApp, according to trackers.

The messages are written but the sending process is not completed and the messages remain pending.

This global problem seems to have started at 11:30 am Afghanistan time.

Unlike the rest of the Meta Company, WhatsApp does not have an independent method of notifying users about problems, and the messenger’s Twitter account has also remained unused since 2014.

So far, the cause of this disorder has not been clarified.
