AT-KABUL: Former president Hamid Karzai on Monday met with a group of the youth from several provinces who currently involved in pursing higher education in different Kabul-based universities at his office.
These youth have formed an organization titled ‘national youth organization’.
In the meeting, Syed Ahmad Jahani, the founder of the origination, spoke on behalf of others and termed closeness of Afghan people, especially the youth and strengthening of the national unity in the country as the major goals behind the formation of the organization.
The former president expressed pleasure that the youth from different provinces were gathering under one roof to achieve their goals in serving the country.
He also appreciated the organization’s efforts for bolstering national feelings, unity and consensus among the Afghan people.
